The first team meeting of the 2011-2012 Unleashed team is slated to take place in September 2011.

The award-winning teen journalism program, beginning its 13th year, had ended in February, 2009, due to budget cuts at the newspaper. It was revived in September 2009, thanks to the cooperative formed by the newspaper and ESD 105.

Now, Unleashed is published every other Sunday in the Herald-Republic. In between, students’ work can also periodically be found in the regular pages of the newspaper.
